This image is of a motorcycle hill climber wiping out on his motorcycle at a Hockley Hills Ontario hill climbing event. It was shot on Kodak Tri-X film with a Canon F-1 body and Vivitar 400mm f/5.6 manual focus prime lens. I don't remember the specifics of the settings on the camera. I entered this image into the Kodak international Newspaper Snapshot Awards contest that was sponsored through the Toronto Sun and won first place in 1980 in the black and white division of Canada for this shot. This is one of the news clippings from the Toronto Sun about the winners of the contest.
