One of the more surprising things that has happened to one of my images was for it to be selected for inclusion on a Canadian Stamp. A glider pilot named Manfred Radius trained at a drop zone I used to skydive at asked me to photograph him performing one of his training flights and I happily obliged. Unbeknown to me he later submitted one of the images I shot to the Canadian Postal system for a series of stamps they were going to produce on aviation and my photograph of his glider made it onto a Canadian stamp.
