Quite honestly my prime ambition has never been to be "published" in photography. Unabashedly, I was always much more interested in making as much money as I could in the profession rather than seeking out my next published shot. Ironically, I was still getting published frequently anyway but that was a bonus as far as I was concerned. I will confess that now that I have been published in the National Geographic magazine "Your Shot" column that I'm working toward getting more of my images gracing the "Daily Dozen" column and I hope that soon enough I will have a "Photo of the Day" as chosen by the fellow photographers who submit images.
