The Orion Nebula is the brightest nebula in the night sky and is easily visible to the naked eye in the night sky from reasonably dark sky locations. Located in the "dagger" of the hunter "Orion" in the constellation bearing his name it is the second "star" of the three stars that make up the dagger hanging from his belt.
