We continued out push toward the summit of Denali, Alaska, the highest mountain in North America, along the traverse of the "Autobahn", the dangerous and steeply sloped section of the mountain noted for causing many deaths from falls. We were still climbing in the deep cold of morning compounded by being in the shadow of the sun.
