Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park British Columbia Canada
Takakkaw falls is located near the small town of Field in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. The Daly Glacier on Mount Niles creates the Yoho River which flows over the cliff side of Mount Niles dropping for a total of 254 metres making this waterfall the second highest in all of Canada. Takakkaw is a Cree word for "wonderful" and it is no surprise that this gorgeous waterfall received that name from the native peoples.
