While driving in Australia in 2010 I made the effort to travel through "Thredbo" and take the ski lift up to the top of the local ski hill. From there you can take a two hour hike to the "summit" of the highest point in elevation in Australia which is Mount Kosciuszko. This is the stone marker indicating the highest point of land in Australia. I set my camera on some rocks while I sat on the marker.
