These images record my ninth iteration of the annual event known as "Burning Man" in Black Rock City Nevada. I had a difficult time deciding whether or not to spend my time wandering the desert playa capturing images of the incredible art at the event or just putting my camera down and enjoying the event for what it is. As usual, I did a little of both. Some periods of bad weather kept me from capturing as many images as I'd have liked but for the first time in many years I did not have to work either the "Man" burn or the "Temple" burn and I managed to get some decent shots of both burns.
