The Pelorus River flows from the mountains of the north part of the south island of New Zealand into Pelorus sound and then out into the channel between the north and south islands. In the summer families from all over the south island come to this river to swim and enjoy the warm waters. Kids have a blast jumping from the rocks into the crystal clear river. i even made a few jumps myself.
