Iguana Falls in Brazil is the latest waterfall system on Earth. The Iguana river is the border between Brazil and Argentina and it flows over a long escarpment creating between 150 to 300 individual waterfalls depending on the water level within the river. The individual falls range in height from 60 to 82 metres. It is an enormous tourist stop and people come from all over the world to see this visual wonder of the world. During my visit to Paraguay in January of 2026 I took a drive into Brazil to see this gorgeous waterfall.
