One of the most notable things about the Burning Man event of Black Rock City Nevada is the dust that emerges from the playa. Black Rock City is located on an alkali dry lake bed in the northern regions of the state and when 80,000 people ride their bikes over it the playa gets crushed into a fine powder which blows through the air with the slightest of breezes.
