I anticipated the great American solar eclipse of 2017 for a few years and researched that one of the best places to view the spectacle was Casper Wyoming. I drove out to Casper several days in advance and scoped out the best location to set up my cameras. I was not disappointed with either the eclipse itself of the images I captured of it. This is the eclipse totality and the sun's corona can be clearly seen including the magnetic lines through the charged plasma.
