I spent two lovely weeks in Hawaii in 2010 over my 50th birthday month of December. This was my fourth trip to Hawaii having been there previously in 1984, 1996, and 1998. It was my first visit to the Island of Kauai though, which I found to be vey beautiful indeed. On Kauai I visited the famous Waimea Canyon and it afforded me some great image opportunities. I did a drive along the north shore of the island one morning and enjoyed the scenery along the beaches. We also visited the island of Maui and I ventured up the road to the summit of Haleakala to watch the sun rise. The Road to Hana on the north east shore of Maui is one of the most winding and beautiful coastal highways that you can take and I highly recommend it to anyone who visits the island. Hawaii is a paradise in the Pacific and I will without a doubt return yet again to continue my exploration of these gorgeous pacific islands.
