This is just one of the many stunning views from the rim of Crater Lake Oregon. It's difficult to overstate the incredible blue hue of the water. It is the deepest lake in the United States and is certainly the bluest and clearest lake as well. Visitors can take a commercial tour boat trip across the lake to "Wizard Island" and enjoy seeing it up close. There is a road which hugs the rim of the lake and can be driven in about three hours.
