My few weeks in Tahiti, Bora Bora and Fiji were the tail end of my three and a half month long journey through the South Pacific. My sail across the open ocean on the "Aranui" from the Galapagos Islands to Hiva Oa put me in the middle of the ocean in paradise and I had decided that since I was already in that area of the world that I would fly to some of the "magical" islands in the Pacific. My time in the islands, albeit short, was relaxing and the scenery was, as can be seen here, very beautiful. I will return to the South Pacific if not to just get some of the magnificent underwater scenery that I entirely missed on this trip due to the fact that I do not as yet own any underwater camera equipment. That situation will change very soon. I will return to these gorgeous seas and capture the ocean life in its glory. For now, these images are what I have from my trip.
